Buckley’s

I am not one to promote items or agendas, until now. I wholeheartedly throw my weight (don’t laugh) behind Buckley’s. This is one product that buckleysCanada got right and it kicks the shit out of any comparison product in the US. Since I started taking those magical capsules, I haven’t been able to string two coherent sentences together, but at least I’m feeling better. I’d rather swim among my mental murkiness rather than cough so hard I pull muscles and vomit. . .which is what I was doing before the love of my life said, “Why don’t you take Buckley’s?” Never, in all our years together has she said anything so lovely.

Peace.

  1. One of the old timers on my job got me into Buckley’s cough syrup (he chain smoked Camel Unfilters) which was also amazing, except that it smelled like/tasted like some kind of white gooey pine tar (what batters used to put on baseball bats for a grip). It was the most disgusting tasting stuff imaginable, but it had the placebo effect because once you took one dose you got better so you did not have to take another.

  2. That’s exactly why I got the capsules. 🙂 The old timers know, my former residents (all in their 80s and 90s) swore by Buckley’s. . . that and a shot of whiskey before bedtime. Cheers.

  3. Being a Canadian I grew up with Buckley’s , great stuff, may sound weird but I actually love the taste of Buckley’s syrup and can drink it like water, you can also get Buckley’s white rub ,ummm it’s like Vick’s vapo rub , only a million times better and more potent, you can actually use it for more than a chest/throat/flu/cold rub, works great for sore aching muscles and bones etc.

Buckley’s is one of Canada’s best kept secrets 😉

  4. I will definitely look for the white rub! The fact you like the taste of Buckley’s not only sounds weird. . . it is weird. 🙂
Just kidding. . .no seriously, that’s messed up. Ha!
Thank you for reading and more importantly, passing along great inside tips to this new Canadian. Cheers.
