I chose, on my own volition, to participate in a writing challenge. While browsing around WordPress, I stumbled upon the Blogging from A to Z April (2015) Challenge, and before I knew it, I signed up. There are 26 letters in the English alphabet and if you subtract the number of Sundays in the month of April, you have 26 days. The challenge is to write a blog each day, except Sundays, in order of the alphabet. April 1 is the letter “a,” April 2nd is the letter “b” and so forth. Oh, I actually thought about it for a few minutes which makes me even more amazed at how easily I can be persuaded by words alone.
I’ve stepped back from blogging the past few days (weeks) not due to writing block but because so many emotions are swirling around, all jumbled together, inside of me. So many feelings are coming from so many different areas of my life right now, I feel as if I’m a puff fish and I just keep expanding. I know writing would help me keep the fishy from exploding, so to speak, but trying to keep identities hidden is outweighing the benefits.
Maybe this challenge will allow me to make sense and work through these emotions. Loyal readers may remember from past blogs how much I do not like to deal with feelings, especially mine. It could turn out to be one major cluster f*ck. Either way, it will be amazing.
