A Favor for Haiyan Victims

As some of you may know, my gal pal, sk, is from the Philippines. Thankfully, her immediate family all live in the metro Manila area and are safe from the past catastrophic typhoon Haiyan that ripped through the country. Extended members of her family do reside in some of the affected parts, Samar and Cebu, but none directly and are safe. Unfortunately there are thousands, millions, of people who aren’t as fortunate.

Here’s where my favor comes in: tomorrow, Friday, November 15th, at 8:00 pm EST (please coordinate for whichever time zone you are in), people from around the world are participating in a Prayer for Haiyan Victims. If you consider yourself a religious person and support prayer, then please do so at that time. I may not be a big proponent of religion and/or prayer but I do believe in energy. Therefore, tomorrow evening I will think positive thoughts for all the survivors of this historic storm. I’m not asking for donations, only your time. It’s free and can be a few seconds to several minutes, it’s up to you.

The more people we get, the more positive energy we can generate.  I thank you in advance for all who participate. Peace.

  1. Thank you for the kind words. I do believe butch healing energy has twice the impact as non-butch energy. 🙂 Cheers.

  2. I thought of you but wasn’t sure how to contact you nor did I want to freak you out but I did think of you and your family. Hope everyone is safe! We just held a charity last weekend (last minute idea thing) and were able to raise $5,000!

  3. It turned out to be a lot of fun. We have some more things planned for this upcoming year so the assistance will continue, at least that is what we hope will happen.
